time would be the hardest thing

I am not a single parent, but I would imagine that if I was, time would be the hardest part to deal with. I think about having kids and that is enough, so having kids on my own would just be so difficult. I hav lots of respect for the people who successfully raise their children as single parents and still give them the morals etc. they need. If I was a single parent I would feel swamped all the time. I voted for time because I imagine having to wake up the kids, feed them, get them ready, take them to school, go to work, pick them up for school make dinner, entertain them, put them to bed, every day? It just sounds so stressful and I really want to hear from someone who deals with this situation and how they can find time for themselves or if they ever actually find time for themselves

Reason for lack of time...

It seems that the lack of time single parents have to deal with is due to the fact that they are doing it alone. Without the help of the other parent, they are left with 100% of the responsiblity. Because they have to take care of every detail in not only their kids lives but their own, they simply do not have enough time.

When two parents work together, and help each other, they usually find that they often have a bit of time to spare. Even if a single parent has the help of their own parents, friends, or other family memnbers, they can find the time to get everything done and even enjoy themselves. With help comes more time, so I voted for lack of help.

Anyone else?

Money

A lack of money can put a strain on a family that is impossible to ignore. If there is no money it doesn't matter how much time or help you have. Plus the stress a lack of money can bring onto parents is yet another reason its the hardest thing to deal with as a single parent, in my opinion.

organize

Organization is the key to success as a single parent. If you can't organize you will definitely find things like time and money to be more of a problem. If you can organize the different parts of your life good enough, the other issues will pass. Organizing leads to more time.
