Mortgage Options

Here's the situation. We bought a house 2 years ago. The deed is both of our names, the mortgage is just his.

I don't want the house. He doesn't want the house.
Legally- I'm free and clear of the house, but since he can't afford to make the payments ALONE- we agreed to split the payments until the house was sold- for the sake of getting these papers filed and the divorce over with.

Apparently no one else wants the house either.

I don't want to see him go into foreclosure-but I really don't want to pay on a house I'm not living in, on top of everything else I'm paying for.

My question is, what are some of the ways you dealt with a mortgage during/after your divorce?
